The Carriage House is becoming quite the hub of activity! Since its opening in September of ’07, it has been host to several artists in residence, many workshops and seminars, and has allowed for the expansion of many of the programs offered by the School of the Arts. There is also an opportunity for EEAC members to mount a solo show in the upstairs multi-use room; Contact EEAC for more information or to reserve space.
Different areas of the building are available for use:
Dark Room
$50 for 3 hrs., includes chemicals
Rehearsal/Studio space
$60 for 3hrs.
Digital Recording Studio
Recently completed! Recording time with an audio technician is available. Please call the School of the Arts at 631-369-2171 to make an appointment.

Funds to renovate the Carriage House were secured by Senator Ken LaValle (Empire State Development Funds); Riverhead Town (Community Development Block Grant Funds)and New York State Council on the Arts (Capital Fund Program). Through the support of Riverhead Town, the grounds will see marked improvements as well through secured funds from Suffolk County Main Street Redevelopment. We’re still raising money for equipment, furnishings and programming. The Carriage House is an Empire Development Zone project, which provides NYS tax credits for donations of $1,000 and more
