| Call for Artists: In partnership with the Town of Riverhead, the East End Arts Council invites member artists interested in being considered to exhibit their work in the Riverhead Town Hall Walker Corridor to print out this page, fill out the form below and send it with photographs, good-quality digital print-outs, or PC-formatted JPEGS on CD, of at least seven of the actual pieces you would want to hang at Town Hall. (Depending on the size of your artwork, the gallery/corridor can accommodate about 12 to 20 pieces). The work will hang in a public hallway and subject matter, size and media may vary. Since there is no insurance for this venue, the artist must sign a waver provided by the Town Attorney. The artist is expected to write his/her own press release and email it to the EEAC for approval (we will email you samples of previous press releases upon request). The Arts Council will send out the press release. Each artist is responsible for framing, installation, sales negotiations, invitations, mailings and any bios, resumes, or price lists. All sales proceeds go to the artist. If desired, a time segment in which to have an opening reception can be arranged with Town Hall. All costs of having the opening are the sole responsibility of the artist. Please fill out the form below and drop it off (with sample photos of work you wish to exhibit) at the EEAC Gallery or mail them to us at: EEAC, 133 East Main Street, Riverhead, New York, 11901 (attention: Jane Kirkwood).
