Local Capacity Building Initiative –
Nassau and Suffolk Counties

Supported by the New York Council on the Arts, the goal of the statewide Local Capacity Building Initiative (LCB) is to help schools, artists and arts organizations to create successful Arts in Education programs that contribute to school improvement in and through the arts.

LCB helps create professional development opportunities and funds artist residency programs in Nassau and Suffolk counties that align with New York State Learning standards.
