Seventh Annual TEENY AWARDS® Winners Presented at Gala Awards Ceremony at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center

Westhampton Beach, NY (June 8, 2009)—The Seventh Annual TEENY AWARDS© were presented Sunday, June 7th during a gala ceremony at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center. Nominees, their families, and local celebrity presenters filed into the theatre decked out in their finest attire, the lobby abuzz with excitement. At the start of the show, each of the 56 nominees was recognized on stage; master of ceremonies David Brandenburg of Hamptons Shakespeare Festival continued the Tony-like event, complete with award presentations and musical numbers, with entertaining wit. THE TEENY AWARDS© is a student theatre arts recognition program of the East End Arts Council (EEAC) and the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (WHBPAC) patterned after the Tony Awards.
