The East End Arts Council presents two accomplished member artists. Roxanne Panero is a classically trained artist whose work is often as whimsical as it is beautiful. Majestic skies may sweep and swirl, reminiscent of Turner, in her billowing backgrounds, but don't be surprised if you find a parade of perfectly rendered artist's dummies carrying eggs in the foreground, as in her humorous oil entitled, 'First Day of Omelet Class'. Her work has been seen in many East End venues including Hampton Road Gallery, Crazy Monkey Gallery, Bridgehampton Historical Society, Quogue Library, Ashwagh and Guild Hall.

JoAnne Dumas' digital camera is a constant companion during outdoor activities like kayaking, hiking, biking and sailing. She especially enjoys catching Long Island light at the beginning and end of the day. During the past six years Dumas has participated in several shows a year and had solo shows at the North Shore Public Library in October of '08, Riverhead Town Hall in '09 and The Mattituck/Laurel Library in '10.

Members who wish to be considered for exhibits at the Jamesport Manor Inn should have

updated representations of work in the EEAC Artist Registry, the form for which can be

downloaded at http://www.eastendarts.org/artists/artist_registry.html or picked up at

the gallery. EEAC off-site gallery shows are selected by committee.
