• Entries (up to3 JPEGS on CD at 94 DPI and no bigger than 7” in any direction) must be received with a completed and signed entry form and a check for the appropriate entry fees or they cannot be considered.
• Name of the artist, the title of each submitted JPEG in the order it will open, and the actual size of piece must be written clearly on the face of CD itself with permanent ink. Digital file name must be the title of the file, appended with artist’s last name (eg. At the Pump John Colbert.jpeg).
• We must receive all CD entries no later than 15 days before the first “in person” drop-off date for each show. This is to insure that there’s time to transfer all entries to a single CD the following day and mail to the juror(s) for review. Notification will be later that same week.
• Accepted entries must be framed and wired for drop-off in person the week after notification during the normal drop off times. CD entries will be pre-accepted into the show and will be juried for awards along with other accepted entries the Monday following in-person drop-off. (An exception will be made if the juror decides the JPEG doesn’t accurately represent artwork and disqualifies it.)
• At this time we cannot accept emailed entries. Entry forms may be downloaded from our website. Incomplete entry form applications will be rejected. Identification labels for accepted artwork can be downloaded from www.eastendarts.org/call for artists/show title.
• Please note: shipped artwork is not accepted. Sorry, no CDs will be returned.
