Riverhead Town Hall Gallery

Photographs by Mery Flaherty
March - May 2018

Mery Flaherty is an artist and art educator with a passion for travel, who brings the sights and sensory experiences of the world to her art and her classroom. Mery taught art in the Smithtown Central School District for 33 years. Now retired, she continues to travel and create art. Her photographs include a selection of locations tied together by blue sky and water; from the frozen sea of Greenland, the waterfalls of Iceland in the far North, to the warm tropical waters of Tahiti, the falls of Iguazu, Brazil, and finally to the unforgettable glaciers of Patagonia in Chile and Argentina.

The Riverhead Town Hall art exhibits are a collaborative effort on the part of East End Arts and the Township of Riverhead to support local artists and introduce their works to the community. The public is welcome; admission is free.

Always open to the public.
