In an effort to bolster and showcase all artistic endeavors, the East End Arts Council has embarked upon an initiative to include poetry in its juried mixed-media exhibitions. The Council has called upon highly qualified, published poets to jury submitted poetry according to the high standards we apply to all artistic media. This panel includes former Suffolk County Poet Laureate George Wallace, current Suffolk County Poet Laureate Tammy Nuzzo-Morgan, Gladys Henderson, and Walter E. Harris, aka. Mankh. Winning poems will be read by the author at the opening and the author will be invited to read several of his or her poems at the annual Winners Show.
