FLUTE, CLARINET, SAXOPHONE, UKULELE
Angelina Modica is an active flutist, music teacher, and private lesson instructor on Long Island. Ms. Modica earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree from SUNY Fredonia in 2013 and her Master of Arts in Music Education degree from Teachers College at Columbia University in 2016. She currently teacher general music for grades K-6 and chorus for grades 4-8 in a public school on the East End of Long Island. In the classroom, she loves singing, dancing, engaging in world drumming, and playing the ukulele with her students.
As a flutist, Ms. Modica has been a member of the Long Island Flute Club for four years and is currently a co-conductor of the Long Island Flute Club Professional Choir. Her private students have also been engaged with the Long Island Flute club as well as participating in the NYSSMA festival. Students of Ms. Modica are frequently selected for the HMEA and SCMEA music festivals.
