A native of Brooklyn, Ken Marino has been involved with music through out his entire life. He started singing and playing the drums in elementary school. He has studied and taught music at City University of New York and The California State University where he possesses a Master's Degree in music. Possessing an extensive experience with classical, rock, theater and jazz ensembles, he can be seen performing throughout the New York area. He has performed with his original band Delta Rising with the jazz fusion quartet Moth to Flame and with his MJB jazz trio at such notable clubs as Nu Blu, Public Assembly, Club Bonafide and The Bohemian Hall. His stage credits include John McGann in “Street Scene,” Dottore Dulcalmara in “L’Elisir D’Amore” and Escamillo in “Carmen.” He has studied drums under Joe Morello, Tommy Igoe Dafnis Prieto and John Riley.
