Thanks to a generous donation from The Elizabeth Richard Memorial Fund in 2015, the East End Arts School has a soldering station for the jewelry program. Classes and workshops include beaded jewelry design, stone setting, fabricated metal working, wire techniques, silver band work, bangle bracelet workshop, resin classes and recycled jewelry designs. Courses emphasize skilled craftsmanship, design and experimentation with form. The student's aesthetic is the focus as they work with a variety of metals and other materials to create personal, innovative works.
