with Dana Neger-Lagos

Beginner Silversmithing and Metalsmithing techniques. You don’t need to be an artist to take this class. All levels are welcome!
You will learn to create textures on copper to start. Dapping shapes, and exploring different finishes such as matte, satin, and high polish. Basic principles like sawing, soldering, filing, bezel setting. Each week the instructor will give a demonstration of one of the techniques above. We will practice these techniques while creating unique Art. Create rings, earrings, and pendants.

Kit for the class to work in copper, brass, and nickel.
$20 payable to the teacher's first class.
Extra optional silver material costs will be discussed in the first class.
