We are excited to introduce our Music Master Mentor for 2024, Chris Donohue. Christopher Donohue is a versatile musician with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Jazz Performance. He’s a dedicated educator and has enriched music programs at St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School for 18 years. Beyond the classroom, he’s been a guest artist and clinician, conducted orchestras, and co-founded The Loft School of Jazz. Chris is an active participant in the music scene, contributing to esteemed groups and recording albums. He’s also a Tenor soloist at a church for 18 years. We welcome him to East End Arts 2024 Music Masters Mentorship Program, inspiring young talent. More about Chris.

This program would not be possible if not for the continued generosity of our sponsors, Harlan and Olivia Fischer. The Music Master Program is open to all high school students across Long Island school districts, and is tuition free. Students will work alongside other exceptional music students perfecting their skills all while learning from a true professional in the music industry. All instruments and vocalists are welcome. We are excited to accept even more students this year and look to build a full band, including a horn section.

Through one-on-one learning opportunities with master musicians, the students are given training in rehearsal and performance skills, in addition to recording, marketing, composition, and songwriting. They leave with life-long relationships and friendships, as well as portfolio materials to assist them in future endeavors, including their pursuit of post-graduate education, and it is tuition free.
